Description
Who doesn’t know it, that soft and shiny fabric? Derived from the Arabic word Zaytoun or Zaitun meaning the Chinese city of Quanzhou. This city in Fujian Province used to have one of the most important trading ports from which silk was exported to the Arab world. Overseas, people spoke of “silk from Zaintun”. Over time, this term gave rise to the word satin. With the SATIN wallpaper, Hohenberger now also brings the noble impression of the soft fabrics to the walls.

Satin is known for its lightly flowing fabrics and luxurious-looking shine on the surface. The sustainably produced wallpaper SATIN imitates the structure of the shining silk fabrics thanks to its horizontal striped pattern. The effect is skillfully enhanced by a noble silver gloss. Depending on the incidence of light, this creates special gloss effects making the room look different depending on the angle of view.
