Simplicity Ochre Gold

The sentence is well-known and often causes amusement: “Is this art or can it go away?” The overwhelmed cleaning staff in the museum serves as the embodiment of ignorance. However, if you see the sentence in the sense of modern living, it becomes a very practical guiding theme. The question is: What do I really need, what is unnecessary?

Tidy up – and include the walls in the process. With clear lines. With simplicity. SIMPLICITY is a non-woven wallpaper with two vertical stripes per strip. This creates a rhythmic and clear pattern in the room and makes it appear larger. The fine metallic effects also refine the surface.

Stripes create clarity

In her guidebooks, the well-known Japanese housing consultant and author Marie Kondō formulated how to make decisions for a living environment. She says: “The process of deciding what to keep and what to discard will go much more smoothly if you begin with items that are easier to make decisions about. As you gradually work toward the harder categories, you will be honing your decision-making skills.”

With her ideas, Marie Kondō inspired us for an unique collection with clear statements. It's called SLOW LIVING. Along with nine other designs, SIMPLICITY is part of this range.
