Geometric Black

Not only nature has always served as an inspiration for visual artists. The natural sciences with their precise descriptions of the world in abstract thoughts and forms could also inspire them. The beauty and simplicity of geometric shapes are often found in those abstract picture compositions that are particularly the 20th Century. The designers at the Bauhaus even raised the circle, triangle and rectangle to the basic construction kit of their reduced universe. 

The GEOMETRIC design from the 10-piece ARTIST collection also uses simple shapes, but implements them surprisingly vividly and generously, which looks like a consistent abstract painting, especially with high walls. 

Free dance of shapes and colours

Semicircles and squares coated with pasty colour overlap into an expressive design. Clearly protruding from the neutral background, they form a field of tension with each other. In contrast to the freely dancing shapes is the colour applied thickly with the brush, which gives the paper-like surfaces a structure that provides a 3-D effect, especially at the overlap points. This effect is enhanced by the use of a special fleece with a special look. 

GEOMETRIC is one of a total of 10 selected designs from the ARTIST collection, which once again focusses on the technical refinements and manufacture quality of Hohenberger Wallcoverings. The healthy non-woven wallpaper is refined with a slight mica effect and is available in 4 colour variants. The bright Orange embraces the room, the strong Black points to the depth, Blue provides an oceanic feeling and the homely Beige decorates every wall.
