Stripes Dark Blue

Stripes are modern. Stripes always work. This does not only apply to the living area of the adults. With a bit of humor and tactile quality, children can also get excited about the STRIPES. The Hohenberger Manufaktur für Tapeten dedicates a design to them that meets their requirements. And that in eight color variants: from Beige to Dark Blue to Sage.

The lines are blurred

The Berlin designer Jenny Pilz put the idea into practice with great care. She has been designing wallpaper collections for the high-end sector around the world for 20 years. Jenny Pilz learned her craft at the art college in Berlin-Weißensee. She has been working independently in her studio in Berlin-Kreuzberg for over 10 years. The entire GREAT KIDS collection, which also includes the STRIPES design, comes from her.

“At STRIPES, I basically used the rest of the designs in the collection as a guide, so that I could combine them with one another”, she says. “Liveliness and movement were important to me. That's why I didn't draw the lines with the ruler, they live from the movement of the brush and different color gradients within the stripes. The lines blur. It is actually water colors that I used for it." The resulting cheerfulness of abstraction can be easily combined with the specific motifs Friendly Foxes, Super Space or Sweet Sheep from the same collection. Try it!

The Hohenberger Manufaktur für Tapeten switched its production methods to ecology and recyclability a long time ago. Production takes place at the manufacture in Hohenberg, Germany. The sustainably designed and digitally printed wallpapers can be recycled without hesitation since they do not use PVC or harmful printing inks.
